“I Drink Your Blood,” directed by David E. Durston, 1971, 83 minutes.I Drink Your Blood is a true exploitation film, for better and for worse. It was no doubt shocking when it was released in 1970 – very loosely based as it was on the Charles Manson Cult, who outrages were still playing out in the press - and it remains genuinely disturbing today. The plot concerns a hippie cult being infected with a rabies virus, which causes them to K*ll and rape and generally go berserk while foaming at the mouth.
