This cool-down event is inviting all zinesters and zinesters-to-be to come to Vildnis and throw themselves into experiments with unconventional materials in bookbinding and zines. There will be a few knowledgeable people around who will share their ideas and thoughts on making books and we have gathered lots of supplies for you to play with: trash, paper, markers, thread & fabric and so on. It will be a casual hygge-day with tea and coffee and chitchat. We finish off with a short talk between the experienced comicbook artist Benni (@bennizone) and Jam (@surmulefyr) about expressing queerness through zines and books before we will screen ”No Straight Lines” at approx. 14.40. It is a movie that combines art, comedy and history to make you laugh and think about the remarkable stories of five pioneering comicbook artists who broke the doors open and made LGBTQIA+ lives visible through their art.
