MAGASIN 4 PRESENTS :HYPER GAL (JP) ( No Wave / Avant Garde)
Springing from Osaka, Japan’s cultural center and historical heart, comes HYPER GAL, a two-piece band consisting of visual artist Koharu Ishida on vocals and noise artist Kurumi Kadoya on drums. The minimalist duo make maximum impact - stripping music down beyond the bare essentials, to create shimmering, no wave pop from blastbeat drums, glittery keyboard loops and ethereal bubblegum vocals - laced with velvet and firecrackers.
HYPER GAL says of the signing, “It has been almost five years since HYPER GAL started its activities in Japan. These years have been very exciting. HYPER GAL is at work on their third album. In the lead-up to its release, SKiN GRAFT will indoctrinate first-time listeners by making the band’s revolutionary second album, ‘Pure’, available outside of Japan.

SCHISTE, or the prophecy of the eardrum stoned by the trumpets of the apocalypse. Matte rock and Math-rock, Slate and Hard-noise. Nothing is set in stone when the stone is crumbling! SCHISTE happens!
After a lineup change and a period of active songwriting, their new EP “IPITOU” has been available since 02/01/26, with the first one already out on all platforms.
WHITE PRIVILEGED GIRLS (BE)
WPG (short for White Privileged Girls) hold nothing back. Outlandish costumes, masks, Pythia-like chanting, accordion, ambient folk and (of course) punk collide joyfully in their colorful performances—a fine example of a kind of Brussels Dadaist noise. One piece of advice: follow all the incomprehensible advice they’ll be throwing straight in your face when they come through our venue.
