Directed by Raffaella D’Angelo and written by Tommaso Urselli, this captivating narrative highlights Hypatia's relentless pursuit of knowledge and her resilience in the face of adversity. Joanna Bertrand brings depth to the role of this remarkable woman, while Ashton Laffineur portrays several key characters, adding rich and nuanced layers to the story.
The performance, both moving and intellectually stimulating, invites the audience to reflect on timeless themes such as knowledge, resilience, and the fight against intolerance. After a warm reception in Milan, "Hypatia, the Highest Note" will be presented for the first time in Luxembourg in English, translated by Diana Nunziante and Maggie Rose, as part of Orange Week 2024.
