About this Event
HYP (https://hyphenova.com) is the first major social-good omni-channel network, committed to changing the face of media by amplifying global voices and increasing creator ownership.
HYP will be showing 25+ films from around the world, streaming 12/15-1/16 (all available on demand) on Filmocracy. We will be showcasing innovative, emerging, and global talent that embody these themes across a number of categories including feature films, shorts, and social media vlogs. Included in the line-up are a number of award-winning films that have been shown across the world at other film festivals as well as retrospective films, crypto related shorts, and a series of interviews with filmmakers. In addition, there will be a showcase of environmental related movies that will be streamed for a limited time from 12/26-1/3.
VERY IMPORTANT - In order to watch the films, you must register via Eventbrite and then also make an account on Filmocracy website () to view the films. Per Filmocracy, you must use the same email on Eventbrite and on Filmocracy. Please note, please ignore the message on Filmocracy that might make it seem like you have to upgrade to watch the movies.
Please note: Our festival is donation based and we would greatly appreciate and welcome any and all donations to offset our costs (we did not charge the filmmakers to apply) and to also provide funds back to filmmakers.
