KANSAS CITY AREA FRIENDS — YOU ARE INVITED FOR A VERY SPECIAL EVENING!
On Friday, June 12 at 6:00 PM, please join us at Christ Lutheran Church, 6700 NW 72nd St, Platte Woods, MO 64151, for a special Hymn Festival Fundraiser dedicated to one exciting goal: bringing world-renowned organist Paul Fey - Organist & Composer to Christ Lutheran Church for a concert this fall.
Please read carefully: Paul Fey will NOT be at this June 12 hymn festival.
This event is a fundraiser to bring him here later. His concert is expected to take place in the fall, and the exact date will be announced once our $5,000 fundraising goal is met.
This is a very exciting opportunity, and I can honestly say I am extremely thrilled about it. To have a musician of Paul Fey’s recognition come to Christ Lutheran would be something truly special. Even more exciting to me personally, when Paul Fey comes this fall, I will be joining him on a couple of hymns.
Our June 12 Hymn Festival itself will be a rich evening of sacred music lasting about 1 hour and 15 minutes, featuring at least 50 of the greatest LCMS hymns. But do not worry — we are not expecting everyone to sing through all 50 hymns. This is designed to be a relaxed and enjoyable come-and-listen event with many gifted musicians sharing beloved Lutheran hymnody. There will also be some congregational participation, as I plan to select at least 3 hymns for all of us to sing together.
We are also inviting musicians of all kinds to be part of this event. If you are interested in joining the Hymn Festival and playing with us, please message me on Facebook or email me. I would love to connect with those who want to help make this a beautiful and memorable evening.

This event is free to attend, but donations are very much appreciated as we work toward our $5,000 goal to bring Paul Fey here in the fall.
