Do you lay awake at night dreading the transition to a whole new format of debating? Do you wonder what the hell a "reply" is? Or do you toss and turn mumbling about a "neg block"? ANU Open can help alleviate these concerns!
Introducing a brand new tournament on the ANU calendar: this tournament requires teams of FOUR people that will rotate! Each round, a different member of the team will need to adjudicate (and the other three will speak). The tournament will be PRO-AM (minimum 2/4 must be novices), but a full team of novices is also perfectly fine!
DATES: April 25–26
WHERE: ANU Campus, or online
FORMAT: Australs (3v3 + replies), cross-institutional teams allowed
TEAM RULES: Pro-am, teams of 4, **maximum of 2 pros per team**
COST: $20 AUD per speaker (80 for a team); judging is FREE
$40 AUD per speaker for in person teams, $30 for in person judges
