Here’s your chance to learn more about the sport of fox chasing! Riders and non-riders welcome. Presented in a “walk and talk” format, we’ll begin at 9:00 am. Workshops include a ride and social time:
- Hound Walk and Talk - Hunstman Robert Taylor will describe what we do and explain the roles of leadership (hunstman, Masters, and staff) and explain the different fields.
- Optional Ride - 1 hour ride for those who wish to participate. We'll have three fields (1st Field moves on and jumps coops and logs; 2nd Field moves on but does not jump anything more than small logs in the woods; 3rd Field is walk/trot, non-jumping)
- MFHA Literature - Access resources from the Masters of Foxhounds Association of North America (MFHA), the governing body of organized mounted hunting with hounds in the United States and Canada.
- Food & Drink to follow! Stick around and join us for some social time after the workshop!
