Saturday, Sep 13, 7-9 pm - Hunt & Murray Live @ The Battery CafeHunt & Murray have been playing unusual folk music together since summer 2023.
Emily Hunt (upright bass) has been playing Bluegrass music for 25 years in Newfoundland as well as British Columbia. She can regularly be found taking part in the Bluegrass Brunch sessions at The Ship Pub. Emily also plays classical music with the Tenacious String Orchestra, and with the Sooky Couch Girls who will be playing at the Battery Cafe Sept 20th.
Sean Murray (acoustic guitar) has been an active musician in St. John's for over 30 years, primarily as a vocalist or lead guitarist, playing and recording with numerous bands as well as occasional solo gigs. In recent years Sean has played and/or recorded with The David Picco Band, Megan Marshall & Vibe Galore, and Sherry Ryan's Country Jamboree. Sean released an album of his own original songs in 2015.

Our max capacity is 35 so larger groups (>3 people) should purchase tickets well ahead of time. Walk-ins may be available on the day of the show - please drop in or call 709-722-9167 to confirm.
Our Kitchen closes at 4:00pm, but snacks and baked treats are available till 9:00.
Please arrive at least 15 mins early to get seated and avoid the rush. Groups of 3 or more will be assigned a table; free seating for singles and couples. Please check in with our staff before seating yourself.
Seats will be held for 1 hr after the show start, after which they may be given to walk-ins. Tickets can also be transferred - login to https://locarius.io/.
