About this Event
Hunger In Focus: Art, Humanity, and the Call to Act
Join End Hunger CT! for a powerful and immersive photography exhibition that brings the realities of hunger into clear view through the eyes of young people across our communities.
Hunger In Focus features a curated collection of photographs captured by youth ages 6 to 25 years old, each piece offering a deeply personal perspective on food access, dignity, and daily life. Through their lenses, we are invited to see beyond statistics and into the lived experiences of individuals and families navigating food insecurity.
This exhibition creates space for reflection, conversation, and connection. It challenges viewers to consider how hunger shows up in our neighborhoods, schools, and systems, while uplifting the voices and creativity of young artists who are shaping a more informed and compassionate future.
The evening will include an opportunity to engage with the artwork, connect with community members, and participate in a brief facilitated conversation exploring the intersection of art and access to food.
At a time when too many families continue to face barriers to consistent, healthy meals, Hunger In Focus calls on all of us to look closer, listen more deeply, and take meaningful action.
This event is free and open to the public; however, space is deeply limited and advance registration is strongly encouraged. We warmly welcome supporters, partners, and prospective donors to join us in investing in this work and expanding its impact.
