Bill Kearney is a lifelong resident of Lexington
with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from UK in 1974. He worked at IBM/LEXMARK 33 years in typewriter and printer design and production, statistical process controls and quality, plastic molding with 10 years in Lexmark's Plastics Technology Center, finishing work life providing unique solutions for customer printing applications.
Bill retired in 2007 to a life of watching hummingbirds which led to studying and collecting the plants they favor which led to an interest in propagating & green-housing tropical plants over the winter. A birding trip to Costa Rica in 2017 forced the purchase of a camera capable of capturing good hummingbird pictures and Bill's here to share some of those today!
