Humane return to the Melbourne live scene for their first performance since early 2020. Renowned for being a progressive gothic alt-rock band, with big vocals, guitars and atmospheres, the reinvigorated five piece anticipates getting back on stage with all those elements intact, and then some! Initially formed as a recording project, Humane has primarily focussed on writing, arranging and recording since its inception. Performing live interpretation of their songs, Humane deliver a set full of musical depth and dynamics. Songs blasts with gritty punch, and others weaves with beautiful guitar and synth lines. In a word, Humane ooze ‘quality’.
Humane is performing at the Tote to promote their debut EP, ‘The Arrival’, which features the single ‘Questions’ with its accompanying animated video. The evening will feature two supports, Abraham Kenny, and Little Theatre.
Abraham Kenny is an Australian solo artist who based himself in the Baltics for over a decade, namely in Tallinn’s abandoned concert hall, ‘Linnahall’, where he lived. He performs songs from his albums, using a range of guitar effects and backing tracks.
Little Theatre are a four-piece indie folk-rock band. Their mesmerising live show is a progressive set filled with emotive rock and sophisticated pop.
