Human Salon - Thinking Better About Money with AI

Human Salon is a series of intimate, after-work gatherings in Paris for people who enjoy ideas and real conversations.
Each edition brings together a small group of curious professionals to explore a topic through a short talk, then stay for discussion and mingling in a bar or similuar venue.

It’s not a conference and not a typical networking event, just a thoughtful way to learn something interesting and meet people who share similar interests.

This session is for people who are doing reasonably well financially, but don’t always feel confident about their decisions. It’s a beginner-friendly look at how to think more clearly about money and investing, and how AI can be used as a support tool to gain clarity and make better choices.
Topics may include:

• Why even smart, educated people struggle with financial decisions
• Where AI can genuinely help clarify patterns and trade-offs
• Where AI can be misleading
• Practical frameworks you can apply to your own financial life

The talk lasts ~40 minutes, followed by Q&A, then a short ice-breaker and open mingling.
This is not financial advice. The focus is on practical frameworks and ways of thinking you can apply to your own situation. The talk will be in English.

Julie Colin is an experienced product leader and former Chief Product Officer of HomeExchange, who became interested in personal finance through her own learning journey. She is the founder of AdaLove, a project focused on helping women build confidence around money, and explores how AI can support clearer, more informed financial decision-making
