About this Event

This will take place at Lincoln’s Inn London, WC2A 3TL on 2 October 2025. On the 25th anniversary of the entry into force of the Human Rights Act, our leading Landmark barristers will examine the most impactful human rights cases to date, ongoing challenges, and the future direction of rights protection in the UK.

This event will be useful to established practitioners as well as all those within an interest in human rights in practice.

The conference will not only be celebrating the 25 year anniversary of the Human Rights Act 1998 coming into force, but also the launch of book, edited by David Blundell KC, Miranda Butler and Alistair Mills and authored by a 32-strong team of expert practitioners from or affiliated with landmark Chambers. This book provides an authoritative and accessible examination of the legal framework established to give effect to the European Convention on Human Rights and the enduring role of the common law in human rights protection. During the conference, copies of the book will be available to purchase, or you can pre-order via this link - Human Rights Law and Practice, 1st edition | LexisNexis UK
