About this Event
Need a study break? Come have a conversation that could change your mind.
Stories are an antidote to stereotype and stigma. By engaging in one-on-one conversations with those who have different life experiences, participants can begin to unlearn their preconceptions. Come with honest questions and an open heart: What you hear may change you.
All of our human "books" (storytellers) will be available from noon-2:30pm. As a "reader" (listener), you can drop in anytime, and have as many 30-minute conversations as you like.
Tickets are not required, but encouraged.
This event is open to the general public as well as members of the UC Davis community. Tell your friends!
The Human Library® creates safe spaces for dialogue where topics are discussed openly to challenge stigma and prejudice. Come for one or more 30-minute, brave conversations at this drop-in event. Unjudge Someone today!
