Course Overview

Innovation & Design Thinking Lab is designed to equip professionals with practical tools and frameworks to foster creativity, solve complex problems, and design user-centered solutions. The program emphasizes understanding the design thinking process, ideation techniques, and experimentation to drive innovation in organizations.

Participants will engage in hands-on exercises to empathize with users, define challenges, generate ideas, prototype solutions, and test outcomes. Introduction to Innovation & Design Thinking

Info: Understanding the value of innovation in organizations and the role of design thinking in creating user- centered solutions. Participants will explore how structured creativity drives competitive advantage.


Empathy & User Research

Info: Learning how to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points through observation, interviews, and surveys. Participants will gain practical skills to uncover hidden insights that guide solution development.


Problem Deflnition & Framing

Info: Techniques to define challenges clearly and focus efforts on high-impact problems. Learners will explore problem statements, how-to questions, and criteria for success.


Ideation & Creative Thinking Techniques

Info: Exploring methods to generate diverse ideas, including brainstorming, mind mapping, and SCAMPER. Participants will practice unleashing creativity while maintaining alignment with user needs.


Prototyping & Experimentation

Info: Learning how to quickly develop tangible solutions for testing. Participants will create low-fidelity prototypes to validate ideas and gather feedback efficiently.


Testing & Iteration

Info: Techniques to test prototypes, collect insights, and refine solutions. Emphasis is on iterative improvement and learning from failure to enhance outcomes.


Case Studies & Real-World Applications

Toolkit – 30-Day Innovation & Design Action Plan

Info: Consolidating learning into a structured roadmap with practical templates, idea validation checklists, and implementation steps. Participants create a plan to apply design thinking and innovation immediately.
