Hui Māori ā-rohe - Whangarei

Ināia Tonu Nei warmly invite you to come to Hui Māori ā- rohe, Whangārei, a gathering dedicated to shaping a future justice system designed by and for Te Tai Tokerau. This hui is proudly hosted alongside our whanaunga at Waitomo Papakāinga, Te Hau Āwhiowhio o Ōtangarei Trust, and Ngāpuhi Iwi Social Services.

This hui is part of a wider series across the motu, bringing Māori voices, aspirations, and leadership to the forefront as we collectively reimagine a justice system that genuinely serves our people and future generations.

The kaupapa of this regional hui is to:

• Bring together whānau, hapū, iwi, community leaders, and practitioners of Te Tai Tokerau
• Share whakaaro on what a future justice system for the North could look like
• Identify priorities, values, and solutions that reflect who we are as Māori
• Support a collective pathway forward grounded in local knowledge and lived experience
