Hub City Drum & Dance is pleased to welcome Wahkiba Julion of Black Circle Symphony as our 2026 Artist-in-Residence.A dedicated drummer, cultural artist, educator, and community facilitator, Wahkiba brings years of experience sharing rhythm traditions through performances, workshops, community gatherings, and collaborative artistic projects. His work reflects a deep appreciation for the power of rhythm to connect people across cultures, generations, and backgrounds.
Throughout the residency, Wahkiba will lead community drum circles, offer private and small-group instruction, and collaborate on special cultural engagement opportunities throughout the area.
