Jako, że data wyjątkowa - postanowiliśmy zaprosić równie wyjątkowego gościa. Headem tego eventu został Jon Hester! To pochodzący z Minneapolis dj oraz producent, mieszkający aktualnie w Berlinie. Dzięki muzyce wydanej w Rekids, Klockworks, Deeply Rooted i występom na całym świecie w instytucjach klubowych, takich jak Berghain Berlin, Rex Club Paris, Fabric London i Vent Tokyo, jak również w klubach w Ameryce Południowej i Afryce Południowej. Jon w dalszym ciągu wydaje muzykę, z którą związał się ponad 20 lat temu, za pośrednictwem swojej wytwórni Participation, będącej rynkiem zbytu dla jego własnej twórczości, a także współpracy z innymi artystami z globalnej społeczności techno i house. Współpraca odbywa się poprzez wzajemną wymianę szkiców pomiędzy artystami, a grafika składa się z prostego, jednowierszowego rysunku samego Hestera – co podkreśla szczerość i bezpośredniość prezentowanej muzyki. Wytwórnia rozpoczęła działalność w październiku 2023 r. solową EP-ką Hester, po której nastąpiła współpraca z ulubioną Cassy, figurantem madryckiego techno Tadeo, legendarnym DJ-em Shufflemasterem, szwedzkim filarem Joelem Mullem, brytyjskim fenomenem The Advent i islandzką ikoną Exos. Dzięki większej liczbie projektów w przygotowaniu Participation będzie nadal inspirować, zaskakiwać i zachwycać słuchaczy na całym świecie, prezentując imponującą różnorodność zamiłowań muzycznych Hestera. Obok headlinera tego wieczoru usłyszycie Hirass’a, który zadebiutuje u nas tego wieczoru oraz inicjatora całego zamieszania PLEBS, który świętuje tego dnia swoje urodziny. Bar oddajemy w ręce znanych i lubianych reprezentantów poznańskiej sceny - AEN’a, którego usłyszycie w duecie z AJĄ oraz Boarding Pass’a, którzy zabiorą Was w podróż przez wszystko co najlepsze w muzyce house ! We invite you to the first event resulting from the cooperation of HUB5 with the Poznań DJ/producer PLEBS. As this date is special, we decided to invite an equally special guest, Jon Hester Hailing from the Midwest US, Jon Hester is an embodiment of the movements, sounds, and attitude that have continued to push techno and house forward. His energy and enthusiasm brought him all the way from beginnings in Chicago and Minneapolis to his present home base of Berlin. With music released on Rekids, Klockworks, Deeply Rooted, and performances worldwide at clubbing institutions such as Berghain Berlin, Rex Club Paris, fabric London, and Vent Tokyo, he is equally keen for the fresh intensity of newer clubs dotting South America and South Africa. Jon continues building on the very expression he connected with more than 20 years ago via his label, Participation, an outlet for his own output as well as collaborative efforts with fellow artists in the global techno and house community. The collaborations are realized through a reciprocal exchange of sketches between artists, with artwork consisting of a simple one-line drawing from Hester himself – underscoring the directness, honesty, and immediacy of the music presented. Participation launched in October 2023 with a solo EP from Hester, followed by collaborations with Panorama Bar favorite Cassy, Madrid Techno figurehead Tadeo, Tokyo's legendary DJ Shufflemaster, Swedish mainstay Joel Mull, UK phenomenon The Advent, and Icelandic icon Exos. With more projects in the works, Participation will continue to inspire, surprise, and delight listeners around the globe, with the impressive depth and breadth of Hester’s tastes and abilities on full display. In addition to the headliner of this evening, you will hear Hirass, who will make his debut this evening, and the initiator of the whole fuss, PLEBS, who is celebrating his birthday that day. We are handing over the bar to well-known - Aen b2b Aja and Boarding Pass, who will take you on a journey through everything that is best in house music! The afterparty belongs again to PLEBS and, above all, to the guests he invited, shrouded in mystery
