About this Event
High School Theatre presents an Encore Presentation of the Award-Winning One Act Play: This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing - 7:00 p.m.
Triplet sisters are left in a forest by a woodcutter father and forced to find their own way in the world. Years later, having circled a globe and fought Vikings, toppled lighthouses, tamed wilds and achieved greatness, the three meet again, as women.
This award-winning production has captured top honors across the state, earning Festival Winner at the Georgia Theatre Conference, GHSA Region Champion, and 4th Overall at the GHSA State Competition. The production also received outstanding individual recognitions, including Best Ensemble, Best Set Design, Best Leading Actress (Morganne Shoop), and All-Star Cast selections (Lauren Edmunds and Ayden Wood).
Because of this remarkable success, our company has been invited to compete at the Southeastern Theatre Conference, a prestigious national competition. We invite you to be part of this journey by attending this special performance and helping us prepare for the next level.
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to support, encourage, and celebrate these talented performers as they prepare to represent our program at the national level. All proceeds from this performance directly support the cast and crew as they pursue this extraordinary opportunity.

Because every ticket sale counts, there will be no free tickets to this special performance and the theatre will have open seating. Please consider a Supporter, Ambassador, or Premier ticket to financially support our cast and crew traveling to the national competition in March! Your support will go directly toward registration and travel expenses. Bonus: Every higher-level ticket earns additional entries to our prize drawing for a framed photo and signed playbill, as well as early entrance to the theatre to choose priority seating. We do ask that you arrive by 6:30pm to allow time for seating and additional support options including concession snacks.
