About this Event
Earlier this winter HRRP hosted a winter walk through Nature Study Woods, where we learned about the history and ecology of the area.
Now it’s time to give back. HRRP will be partnering with Westchester Parks Foundation to work together to restore this special place by removing invasive plants and picking up garbage. Our efforts will help beautify the river and reduce the amount of trash that flows into it. This hands-on activity is a great way for families and community members of all ages to make a positive impact on the local environment while spending time outdoors together.
What to Bring:
Boots
Long-sleeve shirt & Jacket
