Teleios is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering male survivors of human trafficking by providing long-term, trauma-informed care, safe housing, and support to help them reclaim their dignity and life. Human trafficking is the second-largest criminal enterprise in the world, and men make up 40% of all victims. Yet, there is currently only one safe house for men in the entire U.S.—and none in Ohio. We are working to change that by opening the first safe house for male survivors in Ohio in 2026. Learn more at:
FAQ's:
- Do I have to dress my pet in a costume? That’s totally up to you! Dress up, don’t dress up, or even have a matching outfit with your pet. The choice is yours!
- When will I receive my photos? Our photographers will make the photos available digitally within 5 days after the event.
- Can I have 2 pets in my photo shoot? Absolutely! Even 3, 4, or 5. Just bring as many pets as you have in your family. The photo shoot will be for one shoot per family.
- Is this shoot just for dogs and cats? We welcome tortoises, bearded dragons and all domestic pets. We just ask that pet owners are responsible for maintaining their pets and please only bring pets who are friendly with others.
- I’m curious about parking. Will there be enough space for everyone in the fall? Yes, there’s plenty of parking in the lot behind the church. You can see this highlighted on the map below.
- I’m wondering if my donation is tax-deductible. Absolutely! You’ll get a receipt right away when you make your reservation.
- I’m interested in learning more about Teleios. Can you recommend a good resource? Sure thing! Please speak with representatives of Teleios at the event or you can visit TeleiosPath.org
- Are refreshments provided? Yes, there will be snacks and drinks for purchase. Maybe even candy for kids, big kids, and treats for dogs.
- Now, I’m a bit worried about the weather. What if it rains? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! We’ve made arrangements for inclement weather and a cover for your photo shoot.
- Once I arrive, I’m a bit confused about where to go. Can you guide me? Of course! Just follow the signs that say ‘registration’. There will be a few areas for pets if they need to be separated.
- I’m also thinking about doing a walk-up photo session on the day of the event. Is that possible? Yes, it is! But please note that only Venmo and cash will be accepted. If you’ve already made a reservation, you’ll be prioritized.
- Will there be a bathroom for my pet? Absolutely! We’ll have a dedicated area for pets, just like we do for humans. We all need to go when we need to go, and we want to make sure everyone’s comfortable.
