Employment law changes are coming via the Employment Rights Bill (ERB), focusing on day-one rights, zero-hours contracts, fire-and-rehire, and trade unions, with key dates in late 2025 and 2026, introducing new protections, limiting employer flexibility, and expanding entitlements for sick pay, flexible working, and leave. Expect strengthened harassment laws, a new Fair Work Agency, and extensions to tribunal time limits as part of broader reforms.
