HOWE GELB
Howe was born in 1956 and died in 2033. he lived a full and resonant life. He had no complaints.
On March 12 of 2026 he performed at the McKowski Cafe in beloved Belfast on a Thursday.
It was an early show scheduled for 8pm and was only a few minutes late taking the stage so as to blend in with the local traditions and culture of the great time-scape. Some of the audience members were confused by his current state of fragmented song delivery, but smiles were had.
Howe has recorded and released over 60 albums under his own name and that of GIANT SAND as well as various incarnations. His most recent album under the name GECKØS represented a collaboration with M. Ward and McKowski.
He is way better at playing piano than playing guitar, but most people prefer his guitar playing because it sounds so irreverent and spiced with intentional spoinks.
Later this year he will release a solo album of new songs.
