This beginner-friendly workshop is designed to take the mystery out of cameras and give you the confidence to start shooting.
Led by Levi Cyr-Redcross, photographer and videographer at BevCam, this class will walk you through the essentials of how cameras work, the key features to pay attention to, and how to choose the right camera for your needs. You’ll learn the basics of aperture, shutter speed, and ISO, discover simple tips for sharper images, and explore different types of cameras—from DSLRs and mirrorless to camcorders and even smartphones.
This is a hands-on workshop, so you’ll get the chance to practice with real cameras, try out settings, and ask plenty of questions. Whether you’re brand new to photography, looking to improve your video projects, or just curious about the gear available at BevCam, this workshop will give you a solid foundation to build on.
