This workshop is a great way to try using a machine before doing a longer course or to just learn the basics to get you started. You will learn how to use a machine and make samples of a few basic seams along with some tips to hopefully avoid common problems
You don’t need to have any equipment or a machine, but if you do have a machine and want to learn how to use it you are welcome to bring it along.
In this workshop you will learn how to:
Thread a machine & wind a bobbin
Set the correct tension
Sew and finish seams
Troubleshoot common problems
Select appropriate needles and thread

This workshop can be combined with a cushion workshop on the following Saturday as part of our intro to sewing.
