Pulteney Grammar School is proud to present its 2026 Year 7 - 12 musical production: 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying'.This is a whip-smart, high energy satire bursting with catchy tunes, bold characters and big laughs.
The story follows charming everyman J. Pierrepont Finch, and his rise up the corporate ladder, from window washer to high-powered executive. Armed with his trusty self-help book, 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying', Finch uses its clever advice to rapidly climb the ranks of the business world, tackling office parties, scheming co-workers, caffeine addiction… and of course, true love.
Our production is a significant event in our Pulteney community, with over 120 students and 20 staff involved on and offstage. The entire company have been working very hard on our show, and we can’t wait to bring it to life! The show is fast-paced and a lot of fun, with colourful costumes, wonderful songs, and slick dance sequences.
Gather your friends and family, and clock in for a toe-tapping evening of must-see entertainment. This is a meeting you’ll actually want to attend - see you at the office!

REFRESHMENTS
The brilliant Pulteney Friends of Performing Arts team (FoPA) will be running two licensed bars at this venue, both before the performance at during interval. There will be an array of refreshments for sale, including drinks, snacks, mini cheeseboard 'Corporate' boxes, and sweet treats.
