About this Event
During this intensive workshop you will learn how to run a successful workspace, or give your existing space a reboot.
We will share our experience of running SPACE4 over the last 7 years, a thriving workspace in North London. The workshop will be hands-on. We will guide you through practical exercises, giving you skills and material that you'll be able to start implementing immeditely to make a positive change in your work. This will help you generate more value for your users, your local community, your funders, investors, and other stakeholders.
We’ve learnt a lot on our way and we want to share it with you:
- Financial modelling and balancing income with impact
- Marketing desks and rooms to the right people
- Operations and how to streamline them with digital tools
- Partnering with councils and other impactful small businesses
- Engaging your members through inclusive and decentralised business practices
- Activating your community with relevant networking events
- Supporting the local economy with professional and business development
Who are these workshops for?
Whilst this workshop is primarily aimed at people who run workspace and communities, it is also designed for people who commission workspace and want to understand better how they can find operators and support them once in position.
We've therefore designed this workshop with the following people in mind:
- Organisations or individuals who are operating a workspace and looking to improve their service.
- Community managers who run an accelerator, incubator, or any other training programme and want to create more value for their community.
- People who are interested in commissioning impactful workspaces in their area or within their portfolio of properties.
