Jessie Hewitson is an award-winning journalist, ADHD-er and parent to two neurodivergent children.
For more than a decade, Jessie has been on a quest to better understand neurodivergent happiness and the many barriers young ADHD people face in finding it. Now she shares everything she has learned, including interviews with world-leading scientists, researchers, and experts in the field. Combined with her own personal experience, ADHD will empower you to centre happiness in what can be a more complicated and ultimately more rewarding parenting journey.
Jessie will be in conversation with the author and journalist, Laura James.
Laura is the author of one of the first memoirs on autism, Odd Girl Out, after finding out that she was autistic as an adult. Her powerful personal story had a wider focus – exploring reasons for the lower rate of diagnosed autism in women, and a wide range of topics including eating disorders and autism, marriage, and motherhood. Since her autism diagnosis she has campaigned for autism awareness.
