If you work mostly with your brain, AI is going to affect your business. Whether that is negatively or positively is up to you.
About this Event

Knowledge work, which makes up almost all of administration, accounts, writing and consulting work is already being impact by artificial intelligence tools.

Already, thousands of Australian workers have been displaced from their previous roles due to the efficiencies that AI brings. And there are a whole lot more to come as business, government and the not-for-profit section can no longer ignore the savings that it offers.

And while all those jobs expect to be redistributed into other industries and skill sets, the story around small businesses, freelancers and solopreneurs will be very different.

Entry level knowledge work is already being heavily impacted in areas like copywriting, content creation, digital marketing and independent consulting. And now we're seeing it affect freelance programmers, graphic designers and video editors.

With this in mind, how can these types of businesses become more resilient and not only prepare for the worst, but thrive through it?

After working with dozens of startups and hundreds of small businesses over the last decade, Darwin Innovation Hub's Start NT Manager Dante St James has built his own framework for repositioning his own - and others'- businesses in preparation for the affects of AI on knowledge work.

You'll walk away with:

  1. An honest look at what AI's impact will be
  2. Examples of the businesses that will be most affected
  3. What you can do to integrate AI now to get ahead
  4. How to either diversify or defend your position
