About this Event
A great product isn’t enough — if you can’t pitch it clearly, it won’t get funded.
This workshop is designed for founders and Computer Science students who want to learn how to communicate their idea with clarity, confidence, and impact — whether they’re pitching for the first time or refining an existing deck.
Led by Pasha Rayan, a 2× founder, YC alum, and co-founder of a1base, this session draws on real pitching experience across accelerators, investors, and high-stakes rooms.
In this workshop, you’ll learn:
- What investors actually listen for in the first few minutes
- How to clearly articulate the problem, solution, and why you
- Structuring a pitch that tells a compelling story without fluff
- Common pitch mistakes technical founders make — and how to avoid them
- How to adapt your pitch for demos, competitions, and investor meetings
This session is ideal for Computer Science students and early-stage founders who are building products and preparing to pitch — whether for funding, competitions, or customer validation.
You’ll leave with practical frameworks you can immediately apply to sharpen your pitch and stand out in the room.
