About this Event
Hosted by Clare Finch, Sector3's Volunteer Hub Lead, this three-hour interactive workshop will take you through all the need-to-knows from start to finish with working with volunteers.
We'll look at:
- legal requirements
- the recruitment stage
- looking after volunteers, and
- an exit strategy.
Please note the room at Merseyway Innovation Centre holds a maximum of 14 people.
Refreshments such as tea and coffee will be provided.
Ticketing Policy
In order to reduce non-attendance we are now charging a refundable fee to register for an event. This will be set at £5 + eventbrite fee (currently at £1.13). Attendees will be refunded £5 after the event - we are unable to refund the eventbrite fee as eventbrite take this in order to process the tickets.If you are unable to purchase a ticket upfront please get in touch so that we can arrange a workaround - [email protected]
Accessibility
Merseyway Innovation Centre is accessible via the first floor from the Merseyway / Redrock car park. Please wave at the door and a receptionist will let you in.
Parking
The Merseyway / Redrock car park is the closest and most accessible car park.
Alternatively Warren Street car park (The Old Sainsburys) charge £3.50 for the whole day, if you're looking for a cheaper option.
