I am bringing you a FUN 2.5 hours workshop which is all about learning how to headstand safely. Build your body and confidence throughout some useful tips and drills which prepare your body for the practice of headstand. We will explore tripod headstand, basket headstand, straddle headstand and some either shapes headstands. It's quite a few things to go through in 2.5 hours. :)Before I started practicing inversions, I never thought that I could because I always use to think that my body wasn't capable of doing such things. More I practised, more I learnt about the different drills and tips when it came to headstands, more I understood that we are all capable.
This workshop is open to absolutely everyone who wishes to introduce headstands into their practice step by step.
We will cover the following:
How to work your core
Where to have your hands and head in headstand
How to strengthen your shoulders and wrists (what poses to work with)
What bandhas to work with
Practice headstand against the wall
Practice headstand on the mat
What different types of headstand are there
2.5 hours full of useful tips and drills for your own practice to use outside of the workshop and in the yoga classes. There is never much time in classes and this workshop will offer you, what you need - even if it's a starting point.
This workshop is open to just 10 yogis to ensure that I am able to assist and support every single one of you.
Bring water, comfy clothes, mat, and a towel. Mainly come with an open heart and open mind.
