How to formulate body butter, solid lotion bars and lip balms

In this workshop we will learn how to formulate anhydrous products: a body butter, a lotion bar and solid serum and lip balm.

In addition we will cover the benefits of different oils and butters and how we can make substituiins to a formulation. We will learn how to distinguish between a recipe and a formulation.

As well, we will go over simple terms like surfactant emollient conditioning agent, and emulsifier

The workshop includes all supplies a booklet to take home with everything taught in the class, recipes , and a list of suppliers.

By the end of the class each participant will go home with a lotion bar, a whipped butter, and lip balm as well as the knowledge on how to make high quality products at hom
