How to Find, Create & Work with a Writing Group

There's a reason authors always thank their writing groups. A writing group is one of the best ways to improve your writing, edit your manuscript, and eventually get published.

At this interactive event, co-sponsored with the Bay Area Book Festival, you’ll hear from 5 authors whose writing group experience ranges from in-person to online to on the fly. We’ll even talk about the benefits of working with a led writing group.

After the talk, you’ll have the opportunity to socialize with other writers who are interested in starting or joining a writing group. And to make that socializing easier, we'll be pouring complimentary Prosecco, wine, and fancy nonalcoholic drinks.

When the event is over, we will send you a link to a Googlesheet where you can add your name, contact info, and what kind of group you’re looking for so you can follow up with anyone you met at the event.

All proceeds from this event will go toward funding Bay Area Book Festival programs.
