Join us for a deep dive into dry rubs. Participants will go home with five 3oz jars to use at home.


Unlock the secrets of flavor in this hands-on class dedicated to the art of dry rubs. You'll explore the perfect balance of spices and herbs to create custom blends for grilling, roasting, and seasoning.


From smoky and savory to sweet and spicy, you'll craft five unique dry rubs to take home in labeled jars, ready to elevate your home cooking. Whether you're a BBQ enthusiast or just looking to enhance your dishes, this class is a must for flavor lovers!


MENU

1) Basic Dry Rub:

Lesson Focus: Balancing basic flavors - sweet, salty, spicy, and savory. Techniques for applying rubs to different types of meats.

2) Cajun Rub:

Lesson Focus: Understanding the use of spices in creating regional flavors. Evenly coating meats for consistent flavor.

3). Herb and Garlic Rub:

Lesson Focus: Using fresh herbs effectively. Combining zest and herbs to create aromatic blends.

4) Coffee Rub:

Lesson Focus: Utilizing coffee as a savory ingredient. Balancing bitter and sweet elements in a rub.

5) Mediterranean Rub:

Lesson Focus: Highlighting the use of dried herbs and zest. Achieving the right flavor balance for a bright, herbal rub.


Cocktails, beer and wine are available for purchase at the bar.

Classes are approximately 90 minutes – 2 hours
