Presented by Veronique Ludington, Erin Hale (UNH Senior Lecturer, Natural Resources and Sustainability), UNH Capstone students Louis Arinello, Rachel Hazelwood and Windsor Golembeske, and UNH Coop Extension State Specialist Haley Andreozzi.
"Bioblitz 101"
Durham is planning a Bioblitz on a Conservation Property next May and hoping this is just the start of gathering more information on natural resources in our community, and also engaging more people in nature.
You will hear about the key roles and benefits of a bioblitz, a tool for both scientific research and public education.
And they are fun!
You will also learn how to use iNaturalist, a nonprofit social network of naturalists, citizen scientists, and biologists built on the concept of mapping and sharing observations of biodiversity across the globe.
