About this Event
This panel discussion will explore how ETS2 can be effectively implemented in Central and Eastern European countries. As the EU advances its climate policies, these countries face specific challenges and opportunities related to affordability, energy systems, and public acceptance.
The discussion will focus on how CEE countries can design policies that are both ambitious and socially fair, while supporting the transition to cleaner energy.
The event is co-organised with the Cool Heating Coalition, and EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy. Rebeka Hengalová, research fellow at EUROPEUM, will be moderating the event.

A Q&A session will follow the panel discussion, and the event will conclude with a networking reception until 19:00.
