About this Event

ADHD can make the process of growing your queer family even more intense! Join Chris Conolly, ADDCA certified ADHD coach, to understand how ADHD affects the queer family building process. You’ll come away with tools and strategies that will ease some of the challenges and help you feel more grounded through this transition into becoming a queer parent.

Chris Connolly is an ADDCA certified ADHD coach who has been teaching in the queer community as a community health educator for over 20 years. Chris and her wife welcomed their first baby a little over a year ago. The process of trying to conceive, being pregnant and having the baby was life changing in both beautiful and stressful ways. Chris was so grateful that she had the training, and understanding of ADHD to work with her brain. Having a toolbox of strategies through this process helped ease some of the challenges. Trying to conceive and having a new baby has a lot of unknowns that can feel overwhelming in the best of circumstances.
