About this Event
Across South Carolina, families and communities are experiencing growing housing challenges that impact stability, economic opportunity, health, and educational outcomes.
To help inform future housing policy conversations and recommendations, we are hosting four public regional Housing Listening Sessions across the state. These sessions are designed for lawmakers to hear directly from community members, advocates, service providers, and organizations about the housing needs facing children and families in South Carolina.
Participants are welcome to:
- Share testimony or lived experiences (up to 3 minutes at the microphone)
- Attend as an audience member
Testimony spots are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Individuals who sign up to provide testimony will receive a follow-up email with additional details, including testimony logistics and speaking order information.
Whether you work in housing, education, healthcare, advocacy, government, or are simply someone with experiences to share, your perspective matters.
