About this Event
The Housing is the Vision Summit, organized and hosted by Status: Home and sponsored by the Fulton-Dekalb Hospital Authority, is a premier event dedicated to addressing the affordable housing crisis in Metro Atlanta. It will focus on the needs of individuals impacted by HIV/AIDS. The Housing is the Vision Summit is led and pioneered by our lived-experience leadership council members, comprised of leaders across Georgia. This pivotal event will be held at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights in Downtown Atlanta, along with their LGBTQ+ Institute, during the 2024 Atlanta Pride Weekend.
The summit aims to educate, connect, and empower attendees through a series of panel discussions on:
- Emergency housing
- Rental assistance
- Homeownership
- Advocating for Housing Rights.
These panels are designed to provide actionable insights and resources and foster collaboration among community members, policymakers, and industry leaders.
Status: Home is Atlanta’s oldest and largest provider of permanent housing for low-income and homeless individuals and families impacted by HIV/AIDS.
