Welcome to HouseofGen's Hair Artistry Look & Learn Series.
LOOK & LEARN classes will have a FOCUS TOPIC. This portion of class will consist of an intro, demo, troubleshooting, structure and intuitive design decision making, and a Q&A portion. Look & Learns will start at 10:15am.
OPTIONAL UPGRADE to stay for the HANDS ON portion are LIMITED! Spots are limited to maintain as much attention to detail as possible within the learning environment to the students that want a complete hands on experience while diving deeper into the focus topic of the day. Hands on portion will start at 1:30pm.
*For those doing the full day we will have an hour lunch break between L&L's and Hands on. Please feel free to bring snacks and/or a lunch. We do have a small fridge and a microwave on site.

- WEDNESDAY 29 OCT 2025 - Creative Formulating - Colour
If you miss a topic this time around, not to worry topics will be rotated. Also! Keep your eyes open for new classes and feature artists! This will be a reoccuring series and all hair enthusiasts are welcome to join us! If you are interested in being a feature artist please feel free to reach out!
What you will require:
- A completed hair school certificate or at least 6 months experience as an apprentice
- For look and learns - anything to take notes
- For hands on - stylist hair kit, medium hair length mannequin head (option to purchase mannequin heads if needed)
- A completed waiver and photo/video release form prior to attending class which will be sent to you upon sign up.
- Your cute selves ready to be open and inspired to learn
