House of Love & Prayer: KraftTanz Workshop
Welcome to the beautiful Genezareth Church in Neukölln, where we continue the weekly Wednesday evening gatherings of 'House of Love and Prayer'.
This session will be a KraftTanz Workshop: Embodying Power
Through various connection and movement exercises as well as practices inspired by the Haka, we will open a safe and mindful space to step into our primal power.
The Haka is the ritual dance of the Maori, the native people of New Zealand. It consists of a sequence of physical movements and spoken words that are chanted and performed together. During this dance we call upon primal energies and our deep inner strength to come into expression.
* This is not an authentic haka, but a version inspired by it (with permission from my Maori teachers) and molded for European audiences. Hence the name: Krafttanz.
No experience necessary.
