A darkened chamber reimagined under open skies. In Camera Obscura, artists from divergent disciplines: musicians, dancers, circus artists, and filmmakers, perform live within projected cinema, dissolving the boundary between screen and stage. As dusk falls, House of Cellista’s aerial rig becomes the frame itself: a space where projected films blur into bodies in motion and sound transforms into light. Aerialists suspend and turn within moving images, while musicians score not just the film, but the air.
The evening opens with a communal gathering, audience and artists mingling as night approaches. At dusk, the performance begins.
Curated by House of Cellista, Camera Obscura is both séance and showcase, where projected light becomes shadow, and performers become projections.
