Onda Music & Arts Cafe basement turns to housedance practice field. Open practice spot for housedance and music lovers.
Johanna Hurme aka Hi7eHi7e and Sanni "Sunny" Laine from SADE ry will host the jams and also share her knowledge about housedance and music. We are getting know diffrenet areas of house dance and also culture in it and sharing the dance together.
Still if you want to come and practice your own stuff there is space for that also.
OPEN DECS for djs' who want to test their house music and skills for dancers there is spot after introducion. If you want to come and play some music you can contact to [email protected]. We have two vinyl decs, Pioneer DJM-S9 mixer and Roland DJ 505 contoroller inda house.
HOUSE DANCE INTRODUCION WS (15.00-16.30)
Together we will learn about the history of house dance and the foundation steps, which we will combine with our own free movement, and explore the cypher culture in the house during the workshop. No previous experience is necessary, a love of house music, dance and movement is enough.

HOUSE DANCE INTRODUCORS
Johanna aka Hi7eHi7e Johanna first got lost in the world of House almost two decades ago while clubbing warehouse parties and clubs all over Finland. She started dance lessons as an adult in Joensuu and the first touches of house music are from Malmivaara's Veera classes from Jyväskylä. Since then she has travelled and getting to know more about the world of this dance and the pioneers (club heads) at events in Europe. She has tried a wide variety of street dances. She fell in love with the social aspect of hip hop and clubdance culture. Culture and community, and self-expression through dance is what she want to involved to her classes. In his own House style, she combines things from afro, break and hip hop and sometimes also from contemporary dance and the last addition has been the roots of folk dance. He started DJing as a young adult in Joensuu and the record collection has grown over the years from house, trance, disco, funk as well as breaks.
Sunny is a dancer from Pirkanmaa. She currently dances with a contemporary dance company called Ellaya in France and works as a sports massager. Sannis background is in different styles of dancing and moving. She has been teaching popping, locking and hip hop in Tampere and now is exited to share house together.
House Dancesessiosn and Hangaround are a free activity where everyone is welcome. At the venue, we follow the principles of a safer space. If you encounter inappropriate behavior, please come and disquss with us (Johanna & Sanni).
