Join us for a classic overnight hike through Victoria’s high country, traversing the spectacular Razorback from Mt Hotham to Mt Feathertop before descending to Harrietville. Expect big views, exposed ridgelines and a proper alpine adventure.OVERVIEW

Route: Mt Hotham → Mt Feathertop → Harrietville
Distance: 23km total (11km Saturday + 12km Sunday)
Style: Overnight pack carry
Fitness: Suitable for experienced walkers comfortable carrying a full pack over uneven, rocky ground with sustained climbs and descents.

Overnight camping at the Feathertop campground near Federation Hut.
ITINERARY
Friday night: Strongly recommended to stay locally to ensure a prompt start on Saturday.
Saturday: We’ll meet around 10am, park at Bungalow Spur Track car park, then shuttle cars to Diamantina Spur Hut before setting off along the stunning Razorback Track to Feathertop. Although only 11km, this day is graded hard due to exposure and rocky, shaley terrain. Trekking poles are recommended. If conditions allow, we’ll drop packs and summit Mt Feathertop with day packs.
Sunday: We’ll descend via Bungalow Spur Track to Harrietville. One driver will shuttle others back to collect cars, while the rest can relax and cool tired feet in the creek.
