Every second Wednesday of the month, from 8:30pm to 11pm, we host a free* and open hot jazz jam & dance for our communityAll are welcome to participate - Bring an instrument, dancin' shoes, and a friend or two!
8:30 PM - Free Dance Workshop
A SwingColumbus instructor will teach a short solo dance routine to help you enjoy dancing to the fast tempos of many trad jazz tunes - learn a fun new mini-routine each month!
9 PM - Bandstand kicks off
All instruments are welcome (vocalists too!). Swap in and out as you please. Find links to all of our charts and jam books at cohjs.org
All levels of experience are welcomed on the bandstand and the dance floor. COHJS and SwingColumbus work hard to ensure that our events are friendly, supportive, respectful, welcoming, safe, and enjoyable for everyone!
