Hospitality Event Staff Hiring Fair
Join Avela Catering & Events as we build our FOH & BOH hospitality team for a high-profile and large-scale international sporting event in Vancouver this summer.
Hiring Fair Schedule:
- May 19th: 1pm to 3pm, 5pm to 7pm
Location: 1222 Frances Street, Vancouver
We are hiring both Front of House and Back of House team members for a fast-paced, high-volume service environment. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a major production with a professional, well-organized culinary and service team.
Front of House roles include management and team leadership roles, servers, bartenders, and food and beverage runners. We are looking for individuals who are polished, reliable, and confident in guest-facing roles, with a strong sense of hospitality and attention to detail.
Back of House roles include management and team leadership roles, chefs, cooks, stewards, porters, and cleaning staff. We are seeking team members who are organized, efficient, and take pride in clean and consistent culinary execution in a high-output kitchen environment.
All positions are contract-based, running from June 1 through July 15. Multiple shifts will be available, including daytime, evening, and weekend schedules. Compensation across all positions is highly competitve within industry standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain experience in large-scale upscale event operations, work alongside a strong leadership team, and be part of a well-executed, high-energy service.
