About this Event
Join us for National Hospice Palliative Care Week (May 3–9, 2026) as we come together to raise awareness and advocate for equitable access to quality palliative care for all, featuring guest speaker Cheryl Sewell, Community Services Coordinator at Central Okanagan Hospice Association.
Many individuals across Canada still face barriers to care due to factors like age, location, diagnosis, and housing. Every family navigating a life-limiting illness deserves compassionate, high-quality support—wherever they are.
COHA invites you to be part of the conversation at one of our in-person sessions exploring Hospice Palliative Care and our local landscape of support:
Monday, May 4 @ 1pm-2:3pm
Location: COHA August Centre (200 – 1890 Cooper Rd., Kelowna)
Thursday, May 7 @ 1pm-2:30pm
Location: Peachland Wellness Centre (4475 4 St, Peachland)
Let’s come together to learn, connect, and support a future where quality hospice palliative care is accessible in every community.
