3 day clinic. Great for any level from ground driving, harness fit and up. I am very excited to announce that EC Certified driving coach Elisa Missio Marocchi, will be coming to teach a Driving Clinic, June 5,6,7 2026.Elisa owns and operates Wildwood Farm near 100 House BC, www.wildwoodfarm.ca
Elisa will welcome and help all levels of carriage drivers. She has written the Driver Levels for Equine Canada and has developed a safe, easy to follow method for starting horses and drivers, interested in the sport of driving for pleasure to preparing for CDE driving events.
Elisa is very safety conscience and can not only explain and demonstrate "How to do something" but can also explain "why it is done that way".
Lessons are 45 to 60 mins in length each day and are private one on one tailored to meet you and your horse's needs. Only 8 horse/pony/mule/donkey and driver pairs are allowed in this three day clinic, however each participant is encouraged to have an assistant in the ring with them, for the duration of their lessons, for two wheeled vehicles and MUST have an assistant with them when driving pairs/four wheeled vehicles. So in essence 16 people could be taking this clinic!
I will organize an indoor arena if we are weathered out but plan to do the clinic at my place if at all possible. I have a 100 X 200 sand arena and a 40 X 80 M grass dressage ring as well as cones course on grass area.
ALL PARTICIPANTS AND ASSISTANTS MUST Wear a certified Equestrian Helmet and hold a current Provincial Equine Association Membership, without exceptions, during lessons.
Final cost TBA we are hoping to run it for about $400. horse/carriage/driver. We will have and encourage Auditing $75.00 for the weekend (Auditing fee will help offset clinic costs) Camping and pens available. Would love to do a potluck supper or bbq.
A $200.00 deposit is required to hold your spot. (If you cancel I will do my best to fill your spot. If I fill your spot you will get $150.00 of your deposit back)
